I am excited to be your Sunday School teacher today! I hope you enjoy our lesson, videos, songs and activities today.
This Sunday, we are learning about Baby Moses! He was one special baby, but why did his Mom put him in the river?
Enjoy learning and having some fun on this fall day!
Miss Staci says hello and tells you what lesson we will be learning about today! Watch and have fun.
Watch this cartoon video which tells the story about Baby Moses.
(Video created by Saddleback Kids Ministry; a children's ministry of the Saddleback Church located in Saddleback Valley, California. Their mission is to connect kids to God and to others.)
Watch this video clip which tells the story of Baby Moses in a funny way by Veggie Tales from the Veggie Tales episode called
'Babysitter in Denial'.
(Video created by Veggie Tales.)
Miss Staci discusses the videos and talks about the songs coming up!
Sing along to "This Little Light of Mine".
Miss Staci loves singing this tune in the Fall, when the daylight hours are shorter than the nighttime hours. It is also a great tune to go with the story of Baby Moses. Let's continue today's class with this song. Warm up our voices and our bodies!
(Video created by Lifetree Kids.)
Sing and dance along to "Where is Baby Moses?".
Stand up, get your hands and arms ready, and sing along.
See if you can do the hand motions!
(Video created by Miss Nina - Children's Sing & Move Along Songs.)
Check out this week's Sunday School projects using items you can find around the house! There is one project with construction paper; and a snack craft! We haven't had one of those in awhile.
Lots of other activity sheet options are attached.
The lesson plan sheet is for the parents, as it gives the context of the time period and learning objectives so parents can discuss with children.
In the Activity Sheets area below, open the sheet titled '10-11 Project Sheet 1' and '10-11 Project Sheet 2' to find the instructions. Be creative and have fun!
Say "The Lord's Prayer" with Miss Staci as she closes out this special Sunday School session.
Have a great week and we hope to see you next Sunday right here!
God Bless You!
Here are instruction pages for each Sunday's projects, coloring pages and anything else needed for each Sunday's activities.
